Delta now connects the 2028 and 2032 Olympic host cities, Los Angeles and Brisbane.

Delta begins service from Los Angeles to Brisbane. The flight departed at 11:00pm PST from Los Angeles terminal 3 for a scheduled flight time of 14 hours and 40 minutes.

The inaugural flight is operated by the Airbus A350-900 (registration N522DZ) in “LA28” livery.

Flights to the capital city of Queensland will operate three times per week through Mar. 28, 2025.

Expanding to the South Pacific

In winter 2022, Delta introduced a second frequency from LAX to Sydney, and just recently enhanced those flights to daily, providing customers access to Sydney via 14 flights per week.

The airline also launched daily service from LAX to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2023 and three-times-weekly flights to Tahiti in December 2022.
