United Airlines is suspending its daily flights to Israel, beginning with the Wednesday night flight from Newark to Tel Aviv, as tensions in the Middle East escalate.
Delta canceled Wednesday’s and Thursday’s flights from New York.
British Airways also announced cancellations, though it is unclear if they are for the next 24 or 48 hours. The planes will stop in Larnaca and will not continue to Tel Aviv.
Lufthansa announced on Thursday, August 1, the cancellation of all its flights to Tel Aviv until August 8 at least.
