A Lufthansa Airbus A321 was substantially damaged after it was hit by a catering truck at Frankfurt Airport.
The Airbus A321 with registration D-AIDG had arrived as flight LH73 from Düsseldorf and was parked at its parking stand.
As a result of the collision, the Airbus A321’s Empennage area was hit by the catering truck puncturing the fuselage on stand V178 at Frankfurt International Airport.
Nobody was injured in the incident, but the aircraft received substantial damage.
Footage shared on the internet shows several holes in the rear fuselage. Some parts of the catering truck were still on the plane.

According to an airport spokesperson, the catering vehicle was pushed out of carelessness into the fuselage of the Lufthansa aircraft.
