A Boeing 777-300ER made a hard landing at Toronto Airport.
Air Canada flight #AC2 from Tokyo-Haneda encountered dangerous wind shear when landing on runway 24L.
The incident happened on November 13, 2023 at Toronto Airport, Canada.
The wind shear caused a sudden increase of the rate of descent until the right main gear of the Boeing touched down.
The aircraft (reg. C-FIUV) then bounced and leaned to the left before pilots were able to stabilize it.
Control was regained and the landing was safely completed.

Wind shear is a change in wind speed and/or direction over a short distance. It can occur either horizontally or vertically and is most often associated with strong temperature inversions or density gradients.
