Flight LH712 from Frankfurt to Seoul returned to Frankfurt.
Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Seoul was operated by a Boeing 747-400.
The aircraft (reg. D-ABTL) departed at 16:15 CEST using normal route to South Korea.
However 5 hours later, while flying over Kazakhstan the crew contacted ATC about a technical issue.
The 21 year-old Boeing 747-400 turned around. The airline took the decision to bring back the plane at Lufthansa base in Frankfurt.
It landed back at 1:00 CEST at FRA airport.
