A man posted a photo on on Reddit, claiming this is “the way Delta/AirFrance returned my checked baggage. Everything is missing.”
The photo was posted on the Delta forum. Based upon the baggage tag it appears he was on Air France flight #AF1232 from Paris (CDG) to Athens (ATH).
The passenger will be compensated under the Montreal Convention, but not the best way to start a trip.
An airport worker said: “To Air France defence it’s the airport conveyor belt the issue and straps hanging from the bag as well getting caught. It happens more often than we think.”
