On 5th August 2023, a Nordwind Airlines Airbus A330 was damaged at Sochi Airport after it collided with a boarding bridge.
The Airbus A330-300 with forced Registration RA-73848 (Previous registration: VP-BUH) had arrived from Nizhny Novgorod and was destined for Novosibirsk. As seen in the footage, the A330 is still partially painted in Jet Airways livery.
However, while taxiing to a parking lot at Sochi, the aircraft collided with the aerobridge and damaged the engine. The A330 reportedly hit the boarding bridge with its wing and compartment with the left engine.

An investigation is underway to find the exact cause of the incident. No injuries were reported and the aircraft have been grounded.
