A terminal at Manchester Airport has been hit by a power cut this morning.
Passengers have reported disruption and ‘chaos’ in Terminal 3 due to the outage. Some flights have reportedly been delayed with huge tailbacks at check-in also reported.
Some passengers reported that they were stuck at Heathrow airport due to the power cut at Manchester Airport.
The power outage also affected the capacity of refueling.

The airport’s official account tweeted: “Our teams in the terminal are working hard to minimise the impact of the power cut whilst it is investigated further. In the meantime, please check with your airline for the most up-to-date information on your flight.”
In an update at 9.20am, the airport said power had been restored and they were working ‘to return services to normal and minimise disruption’.
