More than 1,400 flights were canceled in the United States on Wednesday as a winter storm hit the country.
About 2,200 flights were delayed and canceled at airports across the U.S. on Wednesday morning as a coast-to-coast winter storm affecting most of the northern half of the country continued to track east from Washington toward New England.
Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport, Denver International Airport and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport were the most heavily affected.
Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport and Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport were also experiencing disruption.
