On Wednesday, Twitter banned an account with the handle @ElonJet that previously tracked Elon Musk’s private jet.
The company also went a step further by banning users from sharing a flight-tracking link of celebrities, politicians or anyone else for that matter.
Twitter handle @ElonJet had previously tracked the Twitter owner’s private jet, specifically, a 2015 Gulfstream G650ER with the registration code N628TS. Musk had offered $5,000 to the teenage developer of the account however, Jack Sweeney turned down the offer.
Last night, car carrying lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood.
Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family.

Multiple Twitter handles similar to @ElonJet were suspended shortly after, Twitter announced an update to its “Private Information policy” that would “prohibit sharing someone else’s live location in most cases.”
Twitter Safety account tweeted: “When someone shares an individual’s live location on Twitter, there is an increased risk of physical harm. Moving forward, we’ll remove Tweets that share this information, and accounts dedicated to sharing someone else’s live location will be suspended.”
Back in November, Musk said that he would not ban the account due to his “commitment to free speech,” the Twitter handle was suspended from the platform this week.
My commitment to free speech extends even to not banning the account following my plane, even though that is a direct personal safety risk
