Travellers arriving in Jordan are no longer subject to mandatory quarantine but require two PCR tests to gain unrestricted access to the country.
Jordon closed its borders and international airports in March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic outbroke. Jordan implemented one of the strictest lockdowns in the Middle East.
The country reopened its border to visitors from selected countries on 5th August with a mandatory effect and a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival.
Jordan will require travellers to arrive with a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours of their departure. Then, one must submit to another PCR test upon arrival.
Both PCR tests will come at the traveller’s own expense, and it costs $40. Currently, the airline collects this cost upon check-in with the airline at their point of departure.
