Singapore Airlines will return to New York when it launches non-stop flights between Singapore Changi and New York-John F. Kennedy International Airport on 9th November later this year.
SQ24 from Singapore Changi Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport will last 18 hours and 5 minutes, whereas the return leg will last 18 hours and 40 minutes.
This flight will be the World’s longest flight. Singapore Airlines will operate this flight on an Airbus A350-900 with 187 economy seats, 24 premium economy, and 42 business class seats.
SQ24 will depart Changi Airport on 9th November whereas the return flight SQ23 will depart New York-JFK on 11th November.
In a statement, Singapore Airlines Executive vice president, Lee Lik Hsin said:
“Operating these flights between Singapore and New York’s JFK International Airport represent an important step in the rebuilding of our global network.”
“Non-stop ultra-long services are the bedrock of our services to the key U.S. market. We will continue to ramp up existing services and reinstate other points as the demand for both passenger and cargo services return.”
