A 180-seater plane landed in Rennes from London to deport a single migrant.
A plane from London landed in Rennes on October 1 with a single passenger on board, Ismail, a 27-year-old Sudanese migrant, deported for having illegally crossed the Channel.
An operation “very costly in terms of carbon footprint and public money” denounced by elected environmentalists in Rennes. “How could a flight be chartered for one man? they said”.
The charter flight was operated by Titan Airways.
