Eurowings will replace about 95 percent of the program offered by Ryanair at Dusseldorf Airport after the Irish Ryanair closed its headquarters in Dusseldorf amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The German airline Eurowings has decided to increase flight from Dusseldorf to Mallorca, Ibiza, Tenerife, Malaga, Alicante Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, and Faro in days to come.
The airline is also planning to increase flights to Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, and Kos in Greece from 24 October.
Eurowings Chief executive and spokesman of the Eurowings management board, Jens Bischof said:
“Instead of undermining social standards and regularly offending partners and customers, we offer reliability, fairness, and long-term prospects. In times of crisis, our customers are not looking for cheap tickets but more than ever for an airline they can trust.”
