Gatwick has announced it will be reopening its North Terminal from June 15th, the same date easyJet, the terminal’s main client, will resume operation.
Gatwick is preparing to reopen the North Terminal after the coronavirus pandemic forced it to shut up shop.
The North Terminal is set to open up on June 15th, and it will also be looking to double its current working hours.
Traffic dwindled to almost nothing in April, and two terminals closed, restricting opening hours to 2-10pm.
EasyJet is the main tenant of the North Terminal, and will be resuming flights from the same date, June 15th.
Gatwick will be open for business between 6am and close at 10pm, except in an emergency, when it will stay open.
Other airlines operating from the North Terminal include Blue Island, Ryanair, Vueling and Wizz Air.
