Gatwick Airport has released new images of its new rail station, on the day that government minister, Penny Mordaunt, announced £10 million of funding to secure the redevelopment of the transport hub. The £120 million redesign will transform the station and passenger experience, with work scheduled to start in 2017 and complete in 2020. The £10 million announced today by the department for communities and local government minister was funding that the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership will put toward the station’s redevelopment.
