On 1st August, a NATO Airbus A330-243MRTT aircraft made an emergency landing at Eindhoven Airport with a refuelling hose dangling off the port wing.
The A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport aircraft, with registration T-057, was returning from a refuelling mission in the north of the country. The aircraft returned for an emergency landing after the crew noticed a problem with the hose. The refuelling hose probably failed to retract.
The emergency landing was recorded by an airplane spotter at Eindhoven Airport.

After safely landing at Eindhoven, the tower informed the crew that the drogue apparently damaged a runway light. The tower further said that there was metal debris behind the aircraft.
