Fly Play flight from Madrid to Reykjavík was diverted after a very specific medical emergency.
Monday, May 19 2025 Fly Play flight OG665 departed Madrid, Spain at 22:44 CEST to Reykjavík, Iceland.
The Airbus A330-200, with registration 9H-MLY, climbed to 36,000 feet and flew over The Atlantic during 3 hours before the crew decided to turn around.
ACARS messages sent by pilots to Operations reads “Medical Emergency Dublin” and “Cocaine In Stomach”.

According to source, the passenger had consumed 30 packets of cocaine with the intent of smuggling them into a country.
The flight landed on runway 10R at Dublin Airport and was met by an ambulance who came to the assistance of the affected passenger.
The aircraft ended up staying the night in Dublin due to crew running out of hours, it proceeded onwards to Reykjavik a bit after 16:00 on the 20th.
