An Ethiopian Airlines flight ET640 was en route to Mumbai from Addis Ababa on Friday when the crew had to deal with a mid-air cabin depressurization.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner (registration ET-AXS) was flying at an altitude of 33,000 feet over the Arabian Sea when the cabin reported a loss of cabin pressure.

The pilots initiated a rapid descent to a safer altitude, following established emergency procedures.
After landing safely, the airport’s medical team provided treatment to the affected passengers. One individual was taken to the hospital for further care.
