A plane carrying 143 passengers and six crew members was forced to make an emergency landing in Graz, Austria’s after smoke was detected in the cockpit.

The easyJet flight U24400 was en route from Budapest to Lyon in eastern France when the crew required an emergency diversion in Austria.

The Airbus A319 (registration OE-LQS) made a very quick descent from 38,000 feet in only 18 minutes to land on runway 34C at GRZ Airport.

“No one was injured in the incident. The source of the smoke is still under investigation,” police said in a statement.
