Pilots of a Boeing 767 outbound Paris declared an emergency and required an immediate return.
United Airlines flight UA331 departed Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport today at 17:36 CEST for a 8-hour flight to Washington IAD.
The Boeing 767-300ER (registration N651UA) stopped the climb at 28,000 feet over Normandy then turned around.
The 33-year-old aircraft is suffering a technical issue forcing pilots to declare an emergency (squawk 7700) and requiring an immediate return to Paris CDG.
