A KLM flight has declared an emergency over Scotland after departure from Amsterdam Schiphol.
The flight, operated by a Boeing 777-200ER (registration PH-BQO) departed from Amsterdam Airport at 13:00 CEST then climbed to 34,000 feet.
But over North of Scotland, the Boeing aircraft turned South as the crew declared a general emergency (squawk 7700).

The flight has just landed at Glasgow GLA Airport.

The Boeing 777-200ER is now parked in a remote area.

We have confirmation the aircraft has suffered a technical issue. The flight is cancelled.
