The Boeing 777-200 (registration N773UA) climbed to 37,000 feet from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport then turned around 1 hour and 30 minutes into the flight.
The aircraft descended to 28,000 feet and returned to origin airport almost 4 hours after departure.
The airline is indicating the flight was canceled due to ‘issues with the airport’s security checkpoints’.
The plane returned to terminal 2, concourse C.
