A flight from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur declared an emergency minutes before landing.
A Malaysia Airlines flight from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur had to make a priority landing this evening after an emergency was declared.
The flight MH720 landed safely on runway 32R at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 6.17pm.
The plane was escorted by at least three Airport Fire and Rescue (AFRS) vehicles when it left the runway to stand.
The reason of the emergency is still not known. The flight was operated by a Boeing 737-800 (registration 9M-MXN).
