The flight BA492 departed London Heathrow at 2:46pm to Gibraltar.
The crew declared an emergency due to a medical situation on board while entering the airspace of Spain, while flying over Atlantic.
The flight is operated by an Airbus A320-200 (registration G-TTOE).
