Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Lagos is declaring an emergency.
The flight LH568, operated by an Airbus A340-300, departed from Frankfurt from Terminal 1, gate B48 at 13:20 CET for a long flight to Lagos.
While cruising at 29,000 ft over Algeria, the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700).
The 27 year-old plane turned around and is diverting.
