A Smartavia Boeing 737 aircraft experienced a tail strike during its landing at Sochi International Airport.
The incident occurred as the Boeing 737-800, operating flight 5N-545 from St. Petersburg, touched down on the runway.
According to the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, the aircraft’s tail struck the runway twice, resulting in an overload of 2.8G. Despite the impact, the plane managed to taxi safely to the apron without any further issues.
