An Aviastar Tu Tupolev Tu-204C skidded off the runway on landing at Mirny Airport in Russia.
The Tu-204 with registration RA-64051 was operating flight TUP9633 from Moscow. However, upon landing, the cargo aircraft ended up about 40 metre further in snow but on paved ground.
Five crew members were on board the aircraft and no one was injured in the incident.
According to preliminary reports, the plane was not damaged and it was towed to the parking lot. After a three-hour closure, the airport resumed operations.

The incident is classified as a serious aviation incident and it will be investigated by the Sakha (Yakutsk) commission of the interregional territorial administration of the Federal Aviation Agency.
