A Boeing 737-800 experienced a tailstrike during landing.
On 28th November, a Gol Boeing 737 received substantial damage while landing at João Pessoa – Presidente Castro Pinto International Airport in Brazil.
The GOL Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-800 with registration PR-VBL was operating flight G31634 from Sao Paulo to Joao Pessoa.
However, while landing in Joao Pesso, the aircraft struck its tail on the runway, causing damages to its tail skid and aft lower fuselage.
Footage shared on the internet shows the extent of damage sustained, as a result of the tail strike.

Following the tail strike, the aircraft taxied to its parking stand without incident. The aircraft has been temporarily taken out of service.
