The flight #AF756 from Paris to Brazzaville and Kinshasa departed CDG airport at 11:30 CET this November 13, 2023.
The aircraft headed south to Africa but over Algeria, the pilots decided to perform a U-turn about 2 hours into the flight. The crew of the Boeing 777-300ER (reg. F-GSQD) has squawked 7700 (general emergency) on approach to Paris.
According to our information, pilots decided to fly back as a precautionary measure due to the suspected presence of a rodent on board.
The aircraft landed normally at Paris CDG at 4pm and is currently being checked by the airline’s maintenance teams.
The 323 passengers and 2 infants have been taken care of by Air France staff and will be rebooked on a new aircraft.
