KLM flight KL791 from Amsterdam to São Paulo experienced an incident.
The Boeing 777-300ER departed Amsterdam on September 18th at 13:15 CEST.
More than 11 hours later, while being on approach to São Paulo, the aircraft (reg. PH-BVW) hit several balloons.
The crew reported to ATC they hit at least three balloons and one of them went through the right engine.
It’s unclear at what altitude the plane experienced the incident, but the last turn was at 4,000 ft.
The aircraft performed the return flight #KL792 normally, on time.
