Flight #DE2208 from Frankfurt to Punta Cana was was forced to divert.
The Boeing 767-300ER took off from Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday 18 June 2023 at the begining of the afternoon.
But 4 hours into the flight, the crew was forced to take a decision regarding a medical emergency.
The aircraft (reg. D-ABUD) diverted to Ponta Delgada Airport, on the island of São Miguel, in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores.
EMS were standing by the plane and a man left in a police car.
After the arrest of the passenger(s), the treatment of the Family that was involved in that fight, the refueling of the plane and some other stuff, the B767 flew to the Tenerife South Airport without the “dangerous” passenger. This process took about 3 Hours.
