Air France flight #AF291 to Paris CDG declared an emergency and returned to Osaka, Japan.
The flight #AF291 operated by an Airbus A350-900 took off from Kansai Airport, Japan 30 minutes late at 11:00JST.
About 30 minutes into the flight, cruising at 35,000ft pilots declared an emergency following a technical issue.
The Airbus A350-900 (reg. F-HTYO) turned to return to Osaka, at a lower altitude. First from FL200 to FL150.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Tourism, the crew declared an emergency because of a display malfunction.
The weather radar and the speedometer of the aircraft were indicating wrong informations.
Firefighters were dispatched on the runway to meet the 1 year-old aircraft.

The nosecone has been damaged, possibly by a birdstrike on takeoff.
The Air France plane had 324 passengers and crew on board, and landed at Kansai Airport around 2:25 pm.
