A Helicopter crashed into the ocean just feet from Miami Beach shore on Saturday. Three people were onboard the helicopter.
The helicopter crashed into the Atlantic Ocean “under unknown circumstances,” and the occupants were in a stable condition. The helicopter was a Robinson R44 helicopter.
Two occupants were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital; however, the third passenger was not injured in the crash. The beach between 9th Street and 11th Street was closed following the crash.
“This afternoon at 1:10 p.m., MBPD received a call of a helicopter crash in the ocean near 10 Street. Police and @MiamiBeachFire responded to the scene along with several partner agencies. Two occupants have been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition,” Miami Beach Police said.

The authorities are investigating the incident. In a statement, the FAA said:
“The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide additional updates.”
