A commercial flight made an unscheduled landing after a passenger tried to force his way into the cockpit, telling fellow travellers he wanted to fly the plane .
The incident happened just minutes after take-off, with dramatic footage from the aeroplane cabin showing the moment the apparently disturbed young man was subdued by other passengers and flight crew.
Reports said the scare occurred on China Southern Airlines Flight CZ 8367 which left the city of Wuhan, capital of Central China’s Hubei Province, bound for Harbin, capital of China’s north-eastern Heilongjiang Province.
The captain of the China Southern Airlines flight decided an unscheduled landing, which took place 20 minutes later in the city of Zhengzhou, capital of neighbouring Henan Province in Central China.
