U.S. officers have confirmed that the first business flight between Israel and the United Arab Emirates is scheduled for next week.
The flight, possibly operated on an Israeli El-Al aircraft. However, the Israeli statement didn’t include a reference to the flight being operated on an El Al airliner or not.
- UPDATE The flight will be operated with a Boeing 737-900ER (reg. 4X-EHD).
The aircraft will be carrying senior-level American and Israeli delegations to Abu Dhabi after the two countries agreed to normalize their relations.
The first flight will carry U.S. delegation headed by President Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Similarly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also informed that his nationwide safety adviser, Meir Ben-Shabbat, would lead Israel’s delegation.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a statement:
“This is a historic agreement. It will spur growth. It will help bring general economic growth, especially during the coronavirus era. I hope that other countries in our region will join the circle of peace.”
