Five passengers were injured when an AirAsia X flight from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur encountered severe turbulence on Thursday.
In a statement, the airline said Flight D7377en route to Kuala Lumpur from Taipei with 291 passengers and 11 crew members on board, encountered the turbulence mid-flight on Thursday.
The Airbus A330-300 landed safely at Kuala Lumpur at 4.30pm.
