Today, Philippine Airlines have announced that they will be cutting 117 jobs in several local domestic stations. “The objective of this restructuring is to focus on our core business in order to remain competitive and provide more efficient air services for the benefit of the riding public,” the airline company said in a statement.
“PAL will disengage from non-core services such as our ground handling activities in domestic stations which can be turned over to qualified third party service providers,” it added.
