Crew of an easyJet flight to Liverpool declared an emergency and diverted to France due to a serious medical situation on board.
EasyJet flight U23356 departed Alicante at 11:34 CET on Friday, November 28, 2025 for a 3-hour flight to Liverpool, UK.
While flying over Bay of Biscay, pilots of the Airbus A320 (registered G-EZOF) have declared an emergency (squawk 7700).
The flight diverted to Bordeaux, France due as a passenger went unresponsive after a suspected cardiac arrest and unfortunately passed away.
The A320 aircraft was met by paramedics on remote stand of the airport at 13:27 CET. Just 2 hours later, the flight resumed to UK.
