Etihad Airways flight EY9 departed Abu Dhabi Tuesday at 03:21 GST to Chicago, USA.
After 15 hours into the flight, the Airbus A350-1000 (registration A6-XWC) diverted to Iqaluit, Northern Canada due to a medical emergency on board.
More than two hours later, the flight resumed to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
