Pilots of a Ryanair flight from Romania declared an emergency on approach to London Stansted.
The Ryanair flight FR2484 departed Cluj-Napoca in Romania today at 17:05 EEST to London Stansted.
The flight started approach over Belgium from cruising altitude of 38,000 feet. While over The English Channel, the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) to require priority landing due to a possible medical emergency on board.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration EI-DCZ) landed 30 minutes later on runway 22 then taxied to stand.
After the aircraft entered parking, it turned around to finally dock to gate 58, two hours and 45 minutes after departure.
