An Airbus A350 from Munich diverted to Dublin on its way to Toronto after crew declared an emergency.
The Lufthansa flight LH494 departed Munich at 16:10 CEST to Toronto Pearson International Airport today.
The Airbus A350-900 (registration D-AIXE) was cruising at 38,000 feet over UK when pilots contacted ATC about a medical situation on board.
The flight turned left and was vectored tu Dublin Airport where it landed 2 hours and 30 minutes after departure.
Airport emergency service and ambulance rushed to the aircraft.
The airline is scheduling to refuel if necessary then to resume to flight to Toronto at 19:00 (Dublin local time).
