Early this morning, a ground vehicle collided with an A320 at Paris ORY Airport after the driver allegedly fell asleep.

A cleaning ground vehicle collided with an easyJet A320 which was still parked at Paris-Orly airport early Monday morning.

According to the first known reports, the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel. An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances.

The aircraft, which was supposed to fly from Paris to Rome this morning, was grounded

The flight U24813 to Rome FCO Airport was cancelled. The airline said “This is because the safety of you and our crew is our highest priority and a technical issue with the aircraft could not be resolved”.
