Eurowings flight to North of Norway returned to Dusseldorf after almost 8 hours after departure.
The Eurowings flight EW9250 departed Dusseldorf Saturday, March 15 2025 at 15:00 and returned at 22:51 CET.
The Airbus A320-200, with registration D-ABHG, took off form runway 05R and flew to North for a 3-hour flight to Tromso, Norway.
After cruising at 35,000ft the pilots started approach to Tromso Airport but snow and wind gusts up to 48kt prevented the landing.
Pilots took decision to Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland where it landed and stayed about one hour before resuming the flight to Tromso.

But once on a new approach to Tromso, the crew gave up and decided to return to Dusseldorf as the wind was still pretty strong, gusting up to 41kt.
The A320 returned to DUS Airport where it landed almost 8 hours after departure, on the same runway.
