A fire broke out in the tail section of an Air Busan plane bound for Hong Kong at Seoul Gimhae Airport.
A large fire broke out on a Air Busan A321 (registration HL7763) traveling to Hong Kong at the Gimhae international airport in South Korea.
The plane, bound for Hong Kong, carried 176 people: 169 passengers and 7 crew members. All managed to escape via emergency exits.
The fire was reported at 10:26 p.m. in the plane’s back upper section. The airport’s firefighting team arrived at 10:34 p.m. to begin extinguishing.
A Level 1 emergency response was declared at 10:38 p.m., leading to the mobilization of additional firefighting resources.
Three people have been injured.
