A 63-year-old woman died Thursday morning on a commercial jet at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, officials said.
The female passenger was pronounced dead shortly after 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 31, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website.
The place of death is given as a commercial jet located at Gate 11 in Terminal D. The cause and manner of death are not yet listed on the medical examiner’s site. She was a resident of Garland.
The Qatar Airways flight #QR731 from Doha landed at Gate 11 around that time. The flight was operated by a Boeing 777-200LR (registration A7-BBB).
The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport Department of Public Safety responded to the incident.
An airport spokesperson said the department’s first responders were dispatched to the aircraft on a medical call and that the airline, Qatar Airways, should be able to provide more information about what happened on board the plane.
