People living close to London Heathrow may have noticed a plane flying over the airport multiple times in last night.
A plane flew several times over both London Heathrow runway last night despite the curfew.
A small plane took off from London Gatwick to London Heathrow as a planned operation.
By midnight, the Diamond DA 62 (registration G-VNAV) performed a touch and go on the runway 09R then another approach on 09R before landing at the opposite side on runway 27L.
The calibration operation continued to runway 09L several times before few approaches and touch and go on runway 27R.
The airport warned on social media about an overnight flight calibration despite the curfew.
The operation ended at 03:20 when the plane returned to London Gatwick.
