An American Airlines flight reportedly bound for Philadelphia from Tampa was delayed after a passenger became verbally and physically abusive.

According to reports, the incident began with an argument between the passenger and a flight attendant. The passenger reportedly directed a hateful slur towards the attendant and expressed general frustration with the airline staff.

Witnesses allege the situation escalated when the passenger became aggressive, with accusations of hitting someone and using offensive language. This reportedly included anti-Semitic slurs and blaming white people for his problems.

The disruptive behavior continued as the man targeted another passenger, a much larger individual who claimed to be a police officer.

The alleged officer intervened to restrain the unruly passenger, placing him in a headlock, and with the assistance of others, escorted him off the plane.

Footage shared on the internet shows the chaotic scene on board the American Airlines flight.

This incident highlights the growing concern over disruptive behavior on airplanes. Airlines have strict policies regarding passenger conduct, and violations can result in removal from the flight and potential legal repercussions.

American Airlines has apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers and commended their crew for their professionalism in handling the situation.
