Multiple private aircraft were damaged at McKinney National Airport after a foam fire-suppression system malfunctioned leading to the accidental release of a highly corrosive form.
Due to a technical glitch, the foam fire-suppression system was activated, dousing tens of millions of dollars worth of private aircraft in the highly corrosive fire-suppression foam.
Security camera footage shared on the internet shows the occurrence, which took place at a hangar at McKinney National Airport in Texas.

According to reports, at least three business jets were damaged due to the accidental discharge of the foam.
It is being speculated that damages and clean-up costs can average around $1 million, as the foam contains concentrated chemicals and requires a costly clean-up to minimize the contamination of the surface.
