On 4th May, a LATAM Chile Boeing 787 was damaged during a towing incident at the El Dorado airport in Bogotá.
The LATAM Chile Boeing 787-8 with registration CC-BBF had arrived in Bogotá as flight LA578 from Santiago. However, when it was being moved by a tug in Bogota, the towbar broke and became stuck underneath the fuselage of the Dreamliner.
Footage shared on the internet shows the towbar snapped while in a turn and became stuck underneath the fuselage of the aircraft.

Following the incident, the aircraft have been grounded and the return flight LA581 to Santiago was eventually cancelled.
No one was injured in the incident.
